You got to look at what appeared to be the official press render of the Galaxy S8 and this is your golden opportunity to look at the upcoming flagship from all four sides. Yes, that is correct, Samsung's flagship can be seen in the flesh and we are confident that you will appreciate the level of efforts the company took in order to bring out a myriad number of differences that will separate this high-end offering from the rest of the phones.
Five Leaked Images of the Galaxy S8 Will Help You Appreciate More of What Samsung Has Incorporated on Its Upcoming Flagship
The first image that you can see below is the front side of the phone and it is not surprising that the bright blue background is the wallpaper on the device because this little addition is constant with the rest of the manufacturer's flagships. However, what is not constant is that the image from BGR shows a bezel-less display and it takes a lot of design proficiency to increase the screen-to-body-ratio of a high-end device. Sure, it definitely trails behind the Mi MIX, but hold them next to each other and you will see that the Galaxy S8 comes very close.
The part that is covered by the metal construction features a front-facing camera that also features an iris scanner right next to it. The feature that was present in the Galaxy Note7 has found its way to the Galaxy S8. Looking at the bottom of the phone, you have your Type-C USB port coupled with the 3.5mm headphone jack and a tiny speaker grill. Since this could be a pre-production unit and the case itself might not be entirely designed for the flagship, we cannot tell if the part on the right-hand side of the phone features an opening for the S Pen accessory.
Looks like when the phone is officially announced, those details shall become known. The overall construction of the phone looks like a job well done, and we're also assuming that Samsung is going to be introducing a lot more color models down the road in order to bolster its sales. This is going to be done to compensate the losses that the Note7 incurred, and help the company and its loyal band of customers to move on what happened with the phablet.
Did you enjoy these images? I personally enjoyed staring at that bezel-less display and I am under the impression that so did you.
